None other than Limpopo-based hiphop artist, Proditjie, who is set to unveil his brand new mixtape titled 'Genesis Statement 606' onto the market this November.
We caught up with him for a brief chat and he shared with us details regarding his forthcoming release. Here are a few excerpts from that interview:

WHAT IS THE TITLE OF YOUR MIXTAPE?
The title of the Mixtape is Genesis Statement 606
IS THERE A STORY BEHIND THE NAME?
I define it as the first chapter of my life as we all know that Genesis is the first chapter in the bible.
WHEN WILL IT BE OFFICIALLY AVAILABLE ON THE MARKET?
The Mixtape will officially be released on the 13th of November 2016.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THEMES/TOPICS THAT YOU EXPLORE IN THIS MIXTAPE?
I probably speak more about my life and how I feel about girls especially on tracks like Gettin Bills, Moment For Life and Smile, among others.
HOW MANY TRACKS DOES IT HAVE?
The is made up of 13 tracks
ANY STANDOUT TRACKS THAT THE FANS CAN LOOK FOWARD TO?
I think that the track "There We Go" (ft Emkay BNE) will go a long way and music fans are sure to fall in love with it.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS YOUR GREATEST SOURCE OF INSPIRATION?
I would like to believe that more than anything else it was just my situation and the background of my Family.
FOR YOU, WHERE DID ALL THIS START?
It all started back in high school , where I was reading and writting poems . So I felt like sometimes I gotta put on some rhythm in my poems
WHAT WOULD YOU COUNT AS BEING AMONG YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENTS FOR 2016, THUS FAR?
I won the Pulana Maroga's 2016 Best performer on the 16th of June and the BGF Festival's 2016 Best Rapper on the 2nd of July and now I've got 4 nominations in Hip Hop Cares Awards 2016 for SOTY- She Dance , COTY - What We Came For(ft Khumz Taylor and Rev Twizer) , Best Lyricist - Gettin Bills and the Best Male - Gettin Bills
WHAT ARE YOUR PERSONAL GOALS?
My personal goal is to inspire each and every person on the street especially young people
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
I am working on a Single track called Dineo Ranaka which is currently not on the Mixtape

WHAT A UNIQUE NAME YOU HAVE, CAN YOU TELL US HOW THE NAME ORIGINATED?
There's a friend of mine called Creed Tumisani is the one who gave me that name and I changed it because I wanted to represent my surname Tjie somewhere on the name , so that's why I removed Gy and put Tjie on it. The name Proditjie was derived from Prodigy which means 'talented person', especially the 'youngins'.
