So when Kanye tweeted last night that his next album will be called Turbo Grafx 16, we can take the news as definitive and permanent. The TurboGrafx-16, by the way, is a video game console, built by NEC and Hudson Soft and released in the U.S. in 1989. The success of Nintendo and Sega’s products meant the TurboGrafx-16 never hit it big in the American market, though it was more successful in Japan, where it was known as the PC Engine. “Blazing Lazerswas probably my favorite game on that console,” Kanye tweeted.
