DEFINING THE NEW AGE WITH SHASTRO

Shadreck Mburayi a.k.a Shastro is The New Age Love Doctor,when it comes to his music

he surely mesmerize us with great lyrical

prowess in the name of love.

Born and raised in Glen Norah the Talent hub of Zimbabwe he is now currently based in the US.

Growing up Shastro played soccer a talent which runs in his family,"my family were surprised when i started singing but the good thing is they accepted it"
Shastro started his musical journey as a back up singer for Stunner a multi talented artist who defines the Zimbabwean Hiphop culture.Ndini ndakora produced by Dr clarence was the first song Shastro recorded in 2010,from there he released his first hit single sweet love under Nitredy studios which was produced by Russo,sweet love is a classic track which up to now 6years later its still many people's favourite.About the feeling he had when he first heard his song sweet love being played on radio he says,"the first time i heard my song playing on radio i screamed i could not hold the happiness i just had to scream it out,i felt great and appreciated i remember calling everyone to turn on their radio to listen to my song",whilst basking in the fame which came with sweet love Shastro did not stop working on more music he collaborated with a number of artists amoung them Diana,Shinso,Varaidzo,Stunner just to name a few but the highlight were his collaborations with Stunner,Mdhara banda,Zvinyowani,Song yemababie listening to them you can feel the connection,the energy and great music chemistry between the two," Stunner and I have a strong bond,we get along very well he is like a brother to me so everything we do together is always a success because of our friendship"
Shastro has released three albums up to date and several singles including true love,mai mwana and the latest Zvakadzora featuring Tally b is one to watch out for,a fusion of dance and rap with that great party vibe in it.

Shastro is an amazing open minded and talented artist who believes in hardwork and being authentic,"i don't feel the need to do what everyone else is doing,staying true to your own style is the way to go"says Shastro who is mostly inspired by love and life situations,he also looks up to musician Jah Prayzar.

Despite facing challenges which comes with living abroad and trying to create music that his fans back home can relate to Shastro remains positive in planning to expand his brand to become more regconised.
Shastro is grateful to his family for the support they give him in everything he does and looking back from the beggining of his career up to now he says,"God has been so great from day one,i never faced any difficulties when i started,my journey was pretty smooth and i have achieved a lot because of my music,im really grateful and i feel blessed"

Shastro has managed to mantain consistency throughout his career  there is no doubt that his music will live on for generations to come but as for this generation he is The New Age Love Doctor.
