Btn Media caught up with aspiring female artist and definitely one of the names to watch out for on the local music scene over the next few years. She is just as confidant as she is talented and raring to go.

The name "Trap Queen" came from one of my favourite songs by Fetty Wap titled Trap Queen

I started singing at the very tender age of 12 in a school choir. From thereon I knew that I had found my true calling.

In September 2016, i did my first song on the Trap Queen Riddim which was done by Mugo Mix & Naiza Boom.

WHICH ARTISTS ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING WITH?
Personally I am looking forward to working with the likes of Queen Vee, Ras Pompy among other notable artists in the Industry.

FROM WHERE DO YOU DRAW INSPIRATION FROM?
I draw my Inspiration from one of the Female Zimdancehall artists, Lady Squander Fire ( Reggae Ambassador ) and my aim is to be an even bigger star.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A FEMALE ARTIST IN THIS MALE-DOMINATED INDUSTRY?
To be a female artist in this type of industry is hard at times because not many people seem to take us seriously. As a female artist you have to overcome a lot, battling stereotypes, from being considered 'loose' to being seen only as 'pieces of meat' meant for the pleasure of men. Its not all rosy in this industry that is why I salute and look up to all the women who have made it thus far all over the world.
