The young dancehall artist that hails from the southern part of Zimbabwe is a force to reckon with if his melodic tunes are anything to go by.
The 18 year old singer, whose real name is Regis Takunda Mandangu was born and raised in Beitbridge. Mark Geezo began his music career at the age of 10 following motivations from his brother Razorman who is now his manager. Razorman is also the person who inspired the name Mark G now Mark Geezo according to the singer.

Collaborations
He has collaborated with some of our own well known local acts like Lady Squander and Mac D.

Inspiration
Mark Geezo confesses to be inspired by Patoranking and Buffalo Soulja from the African continent and Alkaline from Jamaica.
Asked why these three he said its because they resemble his sound.
He also stated that he hopes to be signed under Jah Prayzah’s Millitary Touch Movement label.

Other Activities
Apart from being a solo artist Mark Geezo is also a beat maker and a learning pianist thus he produces his own beats at home in Beitbridge, Zimbabwe. Currently Mark Geezo is the head-boy at Vhembe High School in the boarder town where he is doing good in his academics.

 

Mark G was also featured in Masvingo’s Mirror newspaper where he officially announced that he was leaving Lady Squander‘s After 8 record label which he had signed at the age of 14.
