Rapper Brilliant Moyo, better known as Flizzy Breezy
has just released a brand new song titled "NGEKE".
"NGEKE" is the first single from his forthcoming
debut 5-track EP called "TribAl X " and is targeted at his ditractors
(real and imagined), to whom he wants the message to be clear, "as long as
I am alive my haters will never be Ok.......".
(NGEKE is a Ndebele word which means 'never')
"This upcoming EP is my debut and also a solo project
so there wont be any features whatsoever.
" I am hoping this will be the one that puts my name
on the hiphop map", said the Gweru born and bred artist.
Most radio listeners will be familiar with his hit song
titled "HONA" featuring inno B which received considerable airplay on
the local stations, more especially on Power FM.
The remix to "HONA" which featured various other upcoming
acts across the country from the likes of Kritic, Igwe,Decarpo, whizzla, young
target to inno B also stood its own ground on the airwaves.
The accompanying video to the single made it onto the national
broadcaster, Zbc tv's various music video shows and currently Flizzy features on
YGT's TOP 10 with a video titled "HAVAFARE" a collaboration with fellow
artists Alei and Soull Breezybreezy.
Having started his musical journey barely 3-years ago, the 19-year

" This is only the beginning and i trust that my talents
and my music will take me far.
"I see myself as a future Zim Hip Hop icon, so far so
good and i believe that with music i can realise my dreams and make all my
wishes come true, so watch out for flizzy breezy", he said.
Besides his forthcoming
EP, the rapper said that he was working on a few other projects with artists in
Harare and Bulawayo among others and also dropping a brand new video soon
titled GOOD LIFE featuring Soull breezy.
Even with all the workload
that comes with being an artist, the Gweru-based rapper said that he still finds
the time for his school books because he realizes how important his studies are
as well.
He is an Upper Sixth student.
On a rather lighter note, Flizzy said he draws from his 'haters'.
"I have been
inspired by a lot of people but none more-so than the people who want to see me
fail, they have done and still continue doing a great job!
To them I want to say thank you, I would never have come this
far without you! LOL", he laughed.
